I started playing drums at a very early age, creating my own drum kit out of pots and pans as most drummers do. Self taught, no lessons, in and out of bands since Jr. High School. A lot of people have influenced me over the years ranging from Buddy Rich to Tommy Lee. I enjoy all types of Music and think as a musician you need to have that diversity to enhance your style and find your own sound. I am heavily influenced by Prince so I guess you could say my style is funk and pop driven but I can also ROCK IT when necessary! To me, it's all about having fun and living in the moment.

I met Brian through our former rock band Murge; which I was fortunate to be a part of. The first gig I played with Murge was the Zippo Hot Tour back in October 2004. There were about 200 people there and the energy was amazing! I was a stand-in drummer at that point but shortly after the Zippo gig I became their permanent drummer. We all wrote, recorded and toured the twin cities for almost two years but "everything happens for a reason" and the band broke up. Brian asked me to continue on as his drummer and work with him on his new solo project. I wasn't sure what it was going to sound like with just the two of us but the end result is REALLY cool! I have added a lot of percussion instruments including Congas to my set-up, this is a new venture for me and I LOVE IT!

I'm a big Superman fan (geek) and since “S” is my initial you will see the Superman "S" proudly displayed either on my t-shirt or on my drum set at every gig. I am VERY excited to be joining Brian on this new journey and I hope you all enjoy the Music – because that's what it's all about! Peace.
